Help make the Palace Road Estate bloom!

Over the past months volunteers have come together to restore our raised beds, and care for our fruit trees. We’ve got lots more opportunities coming up for everyone to get involved with!

Coming up over the next couple of months, we’ll be meeting at 10am at the Hive Cafe for the following activities:

  • Saturday 16th March – preparing the ground to plant new hedge along the border of the estate with the south circular.
  • Monday 1st April – planting the new hedges which will help reduce air pollution, and provide a home for wildlife.
  • Saturday 6th April – more hedge planting.
  • Sunday 7th April – finishing the hedge planting!

If you have any questions about these activities, get in touch with gardening@prera.org.uk.

Lambeth Bee Roads initiative are also organising some planting days to help with the new summer flowering meadow that’s coming to the estate. Local schools have been invited to come and help plant the flowers, but residents are welcome to get involved too! Read more about the plans, and if you’d like to get involved contact gardening@prera.org.uk.
