The following members of staff at Lambeth Council have roles which cover the Palace Road Estate:

Rhys Ferguson rferguson1@lambeth.gov.uk is the Neighbourhood Housing Officer (Estates) and is responsible for estate related queries including upkeep of communal areas and gardens, health and safety concerns, fly tipping, communal repairs, communal lighting and lifts, door entry systems, blocked chutes and removal of waste, security of boiler rooms and intake cupboards, safety of playground areas, and abandoned vehicles.

For general enquiries, call 020 7926 6000. The line is open Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm and Saturday, 8am-1pm.

Anti-social behaviour covers a range of activities that affect people’s enjoyment of their homes and neighbourhoods. These may include:

Local councillors

Local councillors represent their communities and residents and help to make and shape the policies of the council. They do not directly manage services but they do make the decisions on what those services will be like.

The councillors hold a drop in once a month of the second Saturday of the month at 10–12pm at the HIVE cafe, 6 Coburg Crescent, London, SW2 3HS.


Utilities

Gas
Report or get help with gas leaks and other emergencies by contacting the free Gas Emergency Services helpline on: 0800 111 999. The helpline is open 24 hours a day, every day. If you suspect a leak in your home, open all windows and doors for ventilation. Find out more.

Contact Thames Water for advice and support with water and waste issues at home or on the estate. You can get advice and report issues online, or contact customer service on: 0800 316 9800.

Electricity
If you experience a power cut, call ‘105’ free to reach your local energy network and report the power cut as well as tracking updates about the problem.

Priority Services Register
People with additional needs because of medical or personal circumstances can sign up for free to the Priority Services Register to receive extra advice and support when there’s an interruption to electricity, gas or water supplies. Citizens Advice Merton and Lambeth https://www.caml.org.uk/get-advice-in-lambeth is the local office. You can get support by phoning free 0800 254 0298 Monday to Friday 10am-4pm. You can also arrange to visit in person.
