With summer temperatures increasingly expected to go beyond 35°C here is some advice to make sure residents know how to keep themselves and others cool.
Lambeth Designated Cool Space
For those that aren’t able to get or keep cool at home Lambeth have specifically designated Streatham Ice Rink and Leisure Centre in Streatham High Road as a Cool Space for the heatwaves. Additionally all 10 Lambeth libraries and eight leisure centres will be open as cool spaces for those who need help to beat the heat.

Vulnerable Residents
All sheltered housing residents will be checked daily, and our housing officers will check on our most vulnerable tenants. Our outreach workers will also be on the streets supporting the homeless.
