We were super lucky with the weather on our Autumn Day gardening morning last Saturday.
Thank you to all those who volunteered their time to tidy, weed, and mulch our planters, mulch around our fruit and young trees, and pickup lots and lots of litter!
We also planted 500+ spring flowering bulbs – Thank you again to Incredible Edible Lambeth for the voucher to purchase the bulbs.

After our busy morning gardening the South London Botanical Institute and Incredible Edible Lambeth hosted a free Tree Walk through the nature garden and onto our estate. Thank you to Maggie from SLBI and Thea from IEL – everyone had a lovely and super engaging time. (Pictured below is a Common Lime).

Bulb Planting Update
Lambeth dropped off another few hundred bulbs the week after our autumn day. Those bulbs were a mix of native species including Wild Garlic, Daffodils, Star of Bethlehem, Cyclamen, Snowdrops, Bluebells, Wood Anemone, and Wild Lily. Resident volunteers planted these bulbs across the estate including around the trees next to Chalner House, around the path down the South Circular from Coburg Crescent, alongside the Learning and Disability Centre on Coburg Crescent, an area in the middle of the estate, and the bank on Bushell Close.
